Vampires!
Yes...I must discuss my thoughts on Twilight. I have read the entire Twilight series and I must say I am totally in love with Edward! I just finished rereading book one, Twilight and I read the draft of Midnight Sun. Midnight Sun, is written from Edward's point of view, on what he went through to attempt staying away from Bella and what he did when he finally made up his mind to be with her. Some of this book is exactly what you will read from Twilight, conversation wise. Getting to know how Edward and the Cullen Coven, filled in some gaps for me. Example, when he left for that week after meeting Bella, this book informs you on what he did.
I absolutely enjoyed reading the thoughts that Edward could hear from others. The thoughts that went through Jessica and especially Mike Newton's mind were fascinating. I loved when Alice would tell him to act normal because Bella was going to look over.
Book one (Twilight) is the best, book two (New Moon) sucked, book three (Eclipse), I won't even go there but Edward and Bella did get engaged and book four (Breaking Dawn) was my second favorite. I am not a critic nor do I want to speak badly on someones work but I have to make a statement. Stephanie Meyer, the author of Twilight, she takes describing a situation, person, environment and subject to a whole new level. Seriously, how many times did I need to read about Edwards, marble cold pale skin and shinny white teeth. We get the picture he is a vampire, we don't need it described on every single page of the book.
Now,every time I turn around its vampire this and vampire that. Let me clarify, I love vampires, I have been drawn to the myth for years. I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, (1992 movie) several times. I have seen Dracula, several versions of it, that vampire movie with Tom Cruise, etc. I loved Angel for years but the essence of Edward has me blown away. I am not sure any other vampire could get my blood going like Edward did. All these emotions were born from reading the book! Not the over exaggerating Stephanie did on his appearance but on how he spoke to Bella, how he acted towards her and how he felt about others when it came to Bella. Who knew a vampire could be jealous!
My frustrations....Twilight the movie, was AWFUL! Robert Pattinson, he is not Edward, he doesn't play Edward well and he doesn't have the debonair demeanor that Edward has. They got his part all wrong and it drives me nuts. Bella, her character was wrong too. I like Kristen Stewart (Bella), she rocked in Speak. I honestly thought she could handle this part, but she couldn't. Bella is honest, a caregiver, inquisitive, someone not willing to show when she is weak. Kristen comes across as a Gothic sad girl that needs a hospital to fix her emotional issues.
James (Cam Gigandet) on the other hand, excellent. He played his part the way it should be played. I could see the bad boy in his eyes, when he said the line "you brought a snack" my body trembled. Jacob (Taylor Lautner) another great cast member for his part. They got this one right too. I am curious to see how he does in New Moon.
I was so excited to see Twilight, I dragged my boyfriend to see this movie on opening night. Disappointment is an understatement. I couldn't wait to see how the book would come alive, but the movie didn't bring the book to life at all. Details were missing, the main two characters and then some were wrong. The connection of Bella and Edward was mesmerizing in Twilight, you could feel it; from a book. This was not the case in Twilight the moive.

Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen
I love to plan events, but when you have too many people trying to plan one event it becomes a mess and a problem. I don't mind working in a group, but honestly you don't need 5 people to plan one event. Two at the most is all that is needed.
Venting....I was hired on to support the executive staff and plan the events. If I had known planning these events would mean working with way too many people, most of which have no opinions for themselves I would not haven taken this job.
Please understand...I am very grateful to have a job. Overall, I enjoy being here and love what I do. On the real though, working with these five people for this one task really needs to end. I will pray, universe please guide me and these fools in the right direction.
Something that really irritates me is this....just because your boss says something does not mean you have to agree with them. Learn how to speak up and stop being a damn follower/ass kisser. I tell my boss when I don't agree, of course I say it respectfully but he appreciates that. We have found a happy medium, we have gone with his thought or we have gone with mine. Either way, I don't just agree with him because he is my boss.
Key rule in planning, know your audience. I know the audience well, simply because they are associates and or friends of mine. They tell me what they want and I can't implement what my audience wants because a certain person feels we have done this before. Does not matter if we have done it before, you can change up what you have done by adding another element, turning the idea into an actual theme.
I have several ideas that would make this event nothing like what we have had before even though one part of the entertainment is something from the past.
Point of this vent/blog today is.....THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY COOKS IN THE KITCHEN for this one event and I'm sick of it.

Sorry Dakota
I went into panic mode when I saw the blood, she was shaking and she looked so sad all because I made an error and caused her pain. First thing I did, was call my brother. Asked him what am I suppose to do, the bleeding wouldn't stop. Boo (my brother and yes I call him Boo) told me to put some flour on it and Neosporin.
I jumped up with Dakota in my hand, she was wrapped in a black throw, wrapped a paper towel around her paw while I checked the kitchen for flour. No flour at Jay's crib. I had to think on my feet, so Ms. E grabbed the pancake mix, Neosporin and I put them both on her paw. Then took her back to the bedroom with me and I held her paw onto the paper towel, being careful not to apply pressure. I wanted the bleeding to clot and this concoction should do that.
The bleeding stopped within ten minutes. Panic mode over, now I wanted to lay down, it was late. I lied down on my pillow and brought the throw up to my pillow so I could hold Dakota. She feel asleep for roughly 20 minutes then she decided to get up, go under the covers and lay with Jay. Mama E was no longer needed:(

Say No to Michael Vick

I have major issues with Michael Vick. My question to Michael is, how the hell can you treat animals that are considered "mans best friend" that way? Do you really have no heart. Humans that encouraged this intolerable horrific act are disgusting.
Karma, embrace this word because Karma is a bitch.
A few things that really get my blood boiling.
- Another black man in the spot light and you couldn't act right for the young black men that are looking up to you. You should be ashamed of yourself.
- Pit Bulls already have a bad name due to people like you. Certain counties will euthanize a Pit instead of trying to find a good home for them due to there reputations again because of people like you.
Known facts about this breed.
- Excellent guard dogs
- Trains easily
- Good with children
- Extremely loving
- Loyal
- They are not people haters or people eaters
- The aggressive tendencies this breed has is towards other dogs and animals. If properly trained they will not be aggressive towards other animals.
Before you get any breed of dog, I recommend Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer). Cesar is an excellent guide in training dogs. Understand the breed of dog you are getting and really comprehend that rasising a dog is a lot of responsibility. Be real with youself, if you can't commit to this responsibility then pick a pet that does not require so much attention.
Pets deserve a great home and love too.

Does She or Doesn't She???
At this point who has not heard about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo's break-up. I ask my readers, is this really a shocker? Answer, hell no!
A little advice Jessica, keep your dad out of your relationships. Your mate is dating you, not your dad. This relationship you seem to have with your dad is rather sickening. What goes on between you and anyone you date, is not your entire family's business. You are big girl, start acting like one. As that saying goes, "If it's too hot in the kitchen, then get the hell out". I think its time you sought some help. Psychiatric help that is. Does she or doesn't she need some help?
Honestly, did you really think Tony was going to ask you to marry him? Let's be realistic here. Cowboys fans had high hopes for last season, hell high hopes for every season and on the real, ever since he starting dating you his game has gone down hill. Tony needs to focus on his career and leave women alone until he gets his act together.
I realize, I can't blame the past two years on Jessica. However, dealing with Jessica and her crazy dad would drive any good player/boyfriend crazy.
Why wouldn't Jessica move to Texas with Tony? Her career isn't really doing anything. If she loved him the way she claims to love him, when asked to move to Texas she would have gone. His career is with the Cowboys, you can't come between his career and his fans! You don't want the feel the wrath of Cowboys fans.
It's time you wake up and step into the real world of dating. No man is going to marry you if he has to marry your dad too. I'm still in shock that Nick married you. Married being the operative word.
Readers...please know that I do not dislike Jessica Simpson. I truly believe the girl is crazy but I do enjoy some of her songs.

Yes, Please Abuse Me.
I know that sounds harsh and rude but please understand I am being real on this subject. No man has a right to put his hands on you, in fact no one has a right to abuse you in any way. YOU DESERVE BETTER! Say that phrase over and over until it registers in your head.
The reason this topic has risen to the surface for me is because of this, I was watching This Christmas the other night. I totally forgot that Chris Brown was in this movie. I had to stop watching it because I can't stand the sight of him. I have erased all the music I had by Chris Brown and I refuse to watch his movies. I will not support him or any other man that abuses women. Best believe I love Stomp The Yard. What Chris did to Rhianna is unforgivable. For that matter Chris is young, to see acts of violence coming from someone so young is crazy. Unfortunately, abusive people have no age barrier.
Let me shed some light on something very real, I am hearing young girls say "She must of deserved it." This statement really gets my blood boiling! I am not sure what parents are teaching their children but we all need to wake up and start talking with out children more. Girls...A man should never abuse you, ever! Please understand that.
I also hear woman saying I just need to try harder, he had a rough day. Ladies, that does not give him the excuse to use you as his punching bag. Real men do not abuse women. Real men know how to channel their anger the right way. Real men are secure not controlling.
Can we say anger management and serious control issues. They need help and you need help too! You need to get the hell out of there and put your life together for yourself and if you have children for them too. He needs some serious jail time along with therapy.
Please help yourselves, realize the message you are leaving when your children witness this. Children repeat what they have seen. You are not helping them by keeping the family together.
I have listed three sites below that will help you. If you have questions, respond to my blog.

Did I Hear Romper?

I hit up the mall with my sister tonight...yes I was looking for the perfect romper again and shoes. We found plenty of rompers and after trying on three of them, Ms. E realized rompers truly are for children. No matter the style, when I looked in the mirror, the mirror was telling me Oh Hell No, take that off!
The ironic part of tonight, while we were walking around the mall we saw this grown woman in a black romper with cleopatra sandals on. My reaction was shouldn't she be on the ground crawling around. Thank you universe for not only showing me how stupid I looked but also showing me that I'm not the only one that looks stupid in these things.
Lesson, just because it looks cute on the pages of Style Watch doesn't mean it should be worn on grown women. This fashion craze/fad is wrong. Wrong with a Capital W. Ladies, Ladies, Ladies...The romper was designed for children. It's a cute little outfit that allows children to move easily. These one piece outfits are not for adults.
We are not children anymore, leave the onezies to the kids.

R.I.P Michael Jackson
I grew up listening to MJ. I remember watching the Thriller video over and over, trying to learn his choreography. Result, unsuccessful to this day but I will continue to attempt and enjoy one of my many favorite videos by this amazing Iconic Legend.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyJbIOZjS8
Michael, your music is incredible! I understood and engulfed every message you put out there. The songs below truly rocked but the meanings behind it are extremely POWERFUL.
- Man In the Mirror
- They Don't Care About Us
- We Are The World
- Heal The World
- Earth Song
- Black or White
Michael didn't just sing his message, he took ACTION. Remember that!
Barry Gordy said it best, Michael is simply "The Greatest Entertainer That Ever Lived." When Michael was on stage, you could not keep your eyes off of him. I remember when I was a teenager, MTV use to play hours of MJ and Janet videos. I could not remove myself from the TV. In the past three weeks, FUSE, MTV, and VH1 has played Michael videos and concerts. Again, my eyes have been glued to the TV. I love watching him dance.
My condolences go out to his children, family, friends and fans.
Michael, I am smiling although my heart is aching.
You will live on forever.

Happy Hump Day
This brings me to real topic at hand, "Finding Your Passion". I thought this would be an easy find but it was not. I enjoy an array of things however I do not love them. Finding your passion is a gift. I admire the people that were able to find their passion and make a career out of it. I would love to pick their brains so I can discover the secret.
I have taken test to find out what I would be best at but these test did not reveal anything other than the wrong answer. I've asked myself several times "what do you want to do", picked my brain, sat in silence trying to think but have not come up with a "realistic answer." My dream jobs seem untouchable for me.
My passions are below and be prepared for this list, it's very serious.
- Talk show where I can say exactly how I feel about everything and question my guest. Ms. E is not afraid to ask the questions we all want the answers too. (I'm thinking You Tube for now)
- Host of an HGTV show - I love interior design and looking at homes
- Have my on clothing line - My clothing line name rocks!
- Be in Playboy magazine - Oh Hell Yes! I would rock those pages!
- Own and Operate an Organic Spa - Want to help people with their skin care needs
Advice anyone?

Ryan Atwood :)

Let's not forget Cohen, love the character but love the name more. Naming your children, extremely hard task. My teen drama's have made that so much easier. Love the names Cohen and Tristan. For all of you who do not know, Tristan is from Legend's of the Fall, Brad Pitts character. Yes, this name does rock!
Back to the subject at hand, I have come to learn that I am still in love with my teen dramas. Key word is "still", but I am not revealing my age. To name a few shows I love: 90210, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Models Inc, Young American and who remembers The Tribe? The Tribe was my first real teen drama, and started me on this path of loving teen dramas. Seriously, I think I could write one of these. Maybe I should try, let me ponder that for a while.
Pop music, I can't stay away from pop music, it rocks! New Kids on the Block, New Edition, Nsync, Immature, and Backstreet Boys. Oh, I love Nick Carter. On Nick's fan page he said he would date a fan. Yes, I did add the quote to my scrapbook, Backstreet Boys concert page to be exact. Nick, I am waiting for that date. Oh, and I forgive you for that Paris Hilton phase you went through.
"The World's Oldest Teenager" everyone should know that title. Dick Clark has that title and I am after it. Dick Clark watch out, you have competition. Ms. E is after "The World's Oldest Teenager" title.
